Message I know this should be in technical but I need to know quickly as I'm literally in the middle of putting new parts on my Z.

I have just installed and ran all the wiring for my Defi boost gauge, water temp gauge, and the controller II. I used the writeup by DamonZ on the TTZs of Dallas website for installing a aftermarket boost gauge. Obviously this is a little different since I don't need to run a boost line through the firewall, etc.

The Defi comes with a boost pressure sender which connects to the controller II and then the gauges connect to the controller as well. Can I simply leave the oem pressure sender out of the car or does the ecu read from this? I want to minimize the amount of T's in the vacuum/boost lines so I'd rather leave it off since I will no longer be using the factory boost gauge.

Is this o.k. to do?
